Video profiling Office of Foundation Liaison model

Metrocom International

Chris Cook of Metrocom International is currently developing a short video that profiles the Office of Foundation Liaison model, chiefly practiced in Michigan (with Karen Aldridge-Eason) as well as in Newark, New Jersey and New Mexico.

Originally created by the Council of Michigan Foundations, the OFL model has tremendous potential for promoting cross-sector partnerships and understanding. The challenge is that, even after several years in action and a highly positive evaluation of the Michigan OFL, it is still not widely known within philanthropy.

The project seeks to better inform the field about the model and spark more conversation as well about building greater mutual understanding and engagement between philanthropy and government.
